"Ural Airlines" launches charters to Georgia
Starting from the nearest Wednesday, Russian air company "Ural Airlines" will launch operating direct charter flights on the routes Moscow-Kutaisi-Moscow and Yekaterinburg-Tbilisi-Yekaterinburg. "Georgia-News" reported about this referring to the head of the PR-projects of Airlines Polina Dikushina. She explained that the flights will be carried out from Moscow Domodedovo airport twice a week - on Wednesdays and Fridays, and from the airport Koltsovo - weekly on Wednesdays.
"Ural Airlines" is the second Russian company which will provide direct flights to Georgia. In Yekaterinburg this is the only flight linking regions of the Urals with Tbilisi, stressed Dikushina.
"In recent years, direct air service has been virtually eliminated due to worsening relations between the countries. Now, thanks to the "Ural Airlines", the people of Russia and Georgia can recover the old business contacts, visiting relatives, friends and travel around this hospitable country with no problems. Borjomi, Khvanchkara, unique Georgian cuisine has again become available for the Urals population, as well as the famous caucasian attractions - the ancient town of Mtskheta, Sioni Cathedral, the castles and fortresses" - said the statement released by the airline's website.
Currently, direct charter flights between the countries are implemented by the Georgian airline Airzena - Georgian Airways, as well as the Russian airline "Siberia".
