The opposition demands to publish plan of privatization of the capital polyclinics
Representatives of the opposition faction of Tbilisi City Council (Sakrebulo) "Free Democrats" are going to familiarize with the privatization program of Tbilisi clinics. As reported by "Georgia-News", in their view, the metropolitan municipality privatizes clinics for some unknown circuit.
"Tbilisi City Hall continues to work on the method of "unofficial reforms" and privatizes the main level of primary care - a network of clinics - for some totally unknown circuit" - said in an interview a representative of the faction, the head of the Social Affairs Committee sakrebulo Victor Dolidze.
He noted that the public is aware neither of conditions of privatization nor what kind of relations between insurance companies and HMOs will be after privatization, or any other details.
"We, "Free Democrats", strongly urge the Mayor to provide a program of privatization of the network of polyclinics and program of its development and demand that the program was provided in writing to avoid the lengthy comments of representatives of the City Hall" - said Dolidze.
Recall, information that Tbilisi has already sold 7 of 50 municipal hospitals was announced earlier today by spokesman of Tbilisi City Hall.
