Federal Service is preparing a new meeting on "Borjomi"
According to information released today by the leadership of Rospotrebnadzor, the returning of Georgian wine, mineral water as well as "Borjomi" to the Russian market is prevented by the position of official Tbilisi. This was the reported by the agency Trend referring to "Interfax".
"While the business community of Georgia is looking for ways of settlement and is willing to negotiate on the resumption of supplies to the professional plane, the rhetoric and the calls of the Georgian authorities showed a lack of understanding and unwillingness to promote a constructive dialogue" - "Interfax" quoted press-service of Rospotrebnadzor.
On the eve of the head of this agency - Gennady Onishchenko - said that at the end of this week, a meeting with a member of the Tbilisi city council, chairman of the party "Free Georgia" Kakha Kukava is scheduled for August 26 in Moscow. Representatives of the two countries will discuss the prospects of resuming the supply of Georgian products to the Russian market.
"This is the second meeting between the parties over the past two months, which confirms the commitment and consistency of Rospotrebnadzor aimed at resolving the situation with supplies of wine and other products from Georgia, and the development of economic cooperation and good neighborly relations between the two countries" - Rospotrebnadzor explained in a statement.
