In Georgia, the longest pedestrian bridge in Europe is built
The 540-meter long wooden bridge, linking the Georgian resort town of Anaklia with the village Ganmukhuri was put into operation. This was reported by the agency Trend with reference to information released today by Kulevi oil terminal of the company SOCAR - State Oil Company of Azerbaijan. This is the longest the pedestrian bridge in Europe, the report said. In the autumn the bridge will be presented at the International Competition in New York.
The report recalls that the terminal of Kulevi was commissioned on May 2008. Handling of petroleum products began in June of that year. The total capacity of the terminal is 10 million tons of oil per year.
The total capacity of the tank farm is 320 thousand cubic meters.
