Only 1.5 million GEL is allocated for Gudauri resort
Half a million lari, instead of 2.5 million GEL as was planned earlier, will be allocated for the rehabilitation of the Georgian ski resort Gudauri. As reported by "Business-Georgia", these funds will be allocated from the budget of Tbilisi, increased to 644 million lari. This information was announced by Tbilisi City Hall in an interview.
They explained that the resort was placed under the control of Tbilisi City Hall in May this year.
According to the project of rehabilitation, Gudauri will become a "four seasons" resort. For this proper infrastructure will be built. New ski slopes and cable railway will be constructed, highways of the European level will be layed, uninterrupted power and water supply will be provided, cleaning service will be created and parking will be arranged. In addition, entertainment centers and wireless Internet will appear here.
