Georgian film won the festival in the U.S.
Documentary reel of film of the Georgian TV channel PIC (First Information Caucasian) called "Mugam" won Moondance International Film Festival, held recently in the U.S.
As reported by Trend with reference to the TV channel PIC, this film is devoted to the unique genre of Azerbaijani music. As conceived by director Alexander Gabunia, this film is the history of mankind without words.
Georgian film divided the Prize with the British film "The Road Home" in the category best foreign short film.
Premiere of "Mugam" is scheduled for September 16, in the capital of Colorado, Denver. The solemn ceremony of awarding winners of the festival will be held in Denver September 18.
