Embassy of South Ossetia was established in Nicaragua
South Ossetian President Eduard Kokoity signed a decree on the establishment of the Embassy of South Ossetia in Nicaragua. "Georgia-News" reported about this with reference to the portal Yuga.ru.
"In connection with the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Nicaragua, as well as the need to maintain and develop permanent relations, embassy in Nicaragua with headquarters in Tskhinvali was established by decree of president of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity" - said in the press service of South Ossetian Foreign Ministry.
As they explained in the interview, Narim Kozayev has become Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Republic of Nicaragua.
Recall, diplomatic relations between South Ossetia and Nicaragua have been established in April 2010. The Foreign Minister of South Ossetia and Nicaragua Murat Dzhioyev and Samuel Santos Lopez signed a joint declaration on establishing diplomatic relations and the protocol on consultations between foreign ministries of both countries.
President of South Ossetia, Eduard Kokoity, who noted the importance of this declaration, attended the ceremony of the signing of documents.
