The French and Georgian artillerymen will become "instructors"
The French and Georgian artillerymen will train their Afghan counterparts to use guns 122 B30, with which they are armed. As reported by Trend referring to the French embassy in Georgia, eleven French gunners would soon go to Afghanistan for this purpose.
They will train their Afghan counterparts together with the Georgian military who are in the area of responsibility. The event will take place in the framework of program of international security of NATO forces. Training will last for five months, explained at the French Embassy.
They added that this is the second experience of joint training of Afghan military by Georgian and French specialists
"This is an example of successful cooperation between the military departments of both countries" - representatives of the embassy stressed.
