Doctors have once again announced an outbreak of infection E.coli
Doctors announced a new outbreak of intestinal diseases caused by the bacterium E.coli in the world. As reported by Trend, in regard of Sakartvelo, there are several dozen people infected with bacterium E.coli. This was reported in an interview at the National Center for Disease Control of Georgia.
However, Georgian doctors explain that a virus strain which killed people in several European countries, was not registered in Sakartvelo yet.
Georgian doctors recommend the local people to take extra care when consuming fruits and vegetables, and, if possible, expose them to heat treatment as preventive measures.
Recall, a few months ago outbreak of a dangerous intestinal infection was recorded in some European countries. More than four thousand cases of infection were revealed in 16 countries.
Germinated soybeans and other grains from the farm in Lower Saxony could become the source of the disease, experts say.
June 29 in Tbilisi, there was recorded a case of death, presumably due to the disease from virus E.coli.
