Kulevi oil terminal is being upgraded
Kulevi oil terminal of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) has prepared a draft to modify the device of bottom discharge. As reported by "Business-Georgia", this information is contained in a message released today by the terminal.
The project was developed by the engineering department of the terminal, the report said. The introduction of new technologies should accelerate the discharge of mazut from rail tank cars on the viaduct of the terminal. All the preliminary work, materials selection, risk assessment were carried out by international standards.
As stated in the message of SOCAR, technological changes should significantly increase the rate of mazut discharge, especially in winter.
As expected, the Kulevi oil terminal will be able to receive and unload about 162 rail tank cars of fuel oil per day after the completion of the project, confident in the company.
