Georgian claim against Russia will be considered in the court on September 22
Public hearing on the suit of Georgia to Russia at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg (ECHR) is scheduled for September 22. The "GHN" reported about this referring to a message posted on the official website of the court.
In particular, the hearings will examine if the complaint of Georgia, aimed at Strasbourg, in connection with military actions in South Ossetia is acceptable.
Recall, August 11, 2008, the first claim of Georgia to Russia was presented to the European Court of Human Rights. The Georgian side accused Russia of ethnic cleansing during the war in South Ossetia in 2008 in that claim.
In February 2009, the authorities of Sakartvelo sent second lawsuit against Russia to the ECHR. It will be considered in September.
