Brazil introduces a visa-free regime with Georgia
As Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Nino Kalandadze stated today in an interview during the traditional weekly briefing, Brazil decided to introduce a visa-free regime with Georgia. At the first stage the visa-free regime will be assigned for a period of 90 days, explained the official.
"During the visit of Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze to Brazil, there has been issued several agreements, including - on simplifying the visa regime. As for us, we have already introduced a visa-free regime for citizens of Brazil for one year, now Brazil expressed the desire for such a move. Under the agreement, citizens of Georgia will be able to stay in this country without a visa for a period of 90 days" - the "GHN" quoted Kalandadze's words.
With all procedures, the agreement will come into force in about six months, added the deputy head of the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
