Georgia is preparing to open its embassies in Brazil and Mexico
Georgian government is planning to open its embassies in Mexico and Brazil in the nearest future. As the agency Trend reported with reference to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Nino Kalandadze, the decision on opening the embassies has been taken.
"We note our particular interest to the issue of deepening relations with the countries of Central and South America" - explained Kalandadze in an interview. She added that this step of the Georgian government has not only political aim but also economic and cultural.
The agreement on simplification of visa regime between Georgia and Brazil recently signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Grigol Vashadze contributes to development of relations with these countries, explained deputy Georgian foreign minister.
