Armenia hopes to simplify the visa regime with the EU
According to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, Armenia can get the mandate to start negotiations on simplification of visa regime between this country and the European Union before the summit on the Eastern Partnership in Warsaw which will be held this year.
As reported by Trend with reference to the Armenian media, Armenian Foreign Minister said such an assumption today at a joint press conference with European Union Special Representative for the crisis issues in the South Caucasus and Georgia Philippe Lefort.
According to Nalbandian, they discussed relations between Armenia and the EU during the meeting with European guest. At the talks, among other things, they discussed the issue of the Eastern Partnership.
Recall, the EU program "Eastern Partnership" includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine.
