The law "On Tourism" has been prepared in Azerbaijan
The draft law "On tourism" was sent to the various state structures of Azerbaijan on coordination. As reported by Trend, after this it will be submitted to the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of the country. This was told by the head of the department of tourism of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Aydin Ismiyev in an interview.
"Globally, they have developed such structures such as tour operators and travel agents the tourism sector. So it must be in Azerbaijan. This issue is also reflected in the bill" - added Ismiyev.
Recall, earlier today, according to information, made public by the leader of the Union of Free Consumers of Azerbaijan Eyubom Huseynov, the quality of tourist services in Azerbaijan is inferior to all relevant international standards in this regard. As reported by "Georgia-News" referring to Azerbaijani media, such a conclusion was made by experts of this organization after monitoring the tourism industry in Azerbaijan. According to Huseynov, during the monitoring, tariffs and service quality in the national tourism industry were studied. Unfortunately, the monitoring has shown that the Azerbaijani tourism does not meet standards of competitors, exceeding them at prices, Huseynov stated with regret.
"Rates for travel services in Azerbaijan exceed prices in Georgia to 50 percent in Turkey - 40 percent, although the quality of these services is inferior to all relevant standards" - said Huseynov.
