An opinion: The "war of compromising materials" in South Ossetia is doomed to fail
President of the South Ossetian media center "Ir" Irina Gagloyeva is confident that the population of the republic will not pay much attention to the "war of compromising materials" which may begin before the presidential elections in the country.
"Of course, compromising materials can be different, if it is serious then they will listen to it, but as a rule, serious compromising materials don't appear during these electoral battles. In this case we always have a question: where were you earlier if you knew that someone was a betrayer, someone was a thief? So, why you decided to us recall about this just now?" - "Echo of the Caucasus" quoted the words of Gagloyev.
Recall, the presidential elections in South Ossetia are scheduled for November 13, 2011.
Note also, recently, the KGB of South Ossetia issued a statement, which emphasizes the inadmissibility of the use of technologies of "black PR" during the election campaign. "Recently, some citizens of Tskhinval have been spreading rumors in order to create panic and to split the South Ossetian society, to discredit the process of the South Ossetian presidential election. The organizers of these actions do not understand that in order to realize their political ambitions, they risk to put society to the brink of military confrontation and thereby to discredit the Republic in the eyes of its own people and the international community. The KGB said that any attempts of provocation, from whatever side they would not have come from, will be resolutely suppressed under the current legislation, and their organizers will be brought to responsibility"- in particular, said the law enforcers in this appeal.
