As reported by "Caucasian Knot", opposition has sent to the parliament speaker David Bakradze a statement which referred to "unconscionable" counting of their salaries. They are asking the ruling majority to pay attention to "world parliamentary procedure", which include paying the salary to MPs who are in the mode of the boycott.

They also lashed out with criticism the ruling elite, accusing them of illegally using the budget funds. "Members of Saakashvili's office-Merabishvili, so-called Parliament, is shamelessly continuing their luxurious live, made comfortable at the expense of the people. In particular, during only a half a year you have spent a half million lari for fuel and 500 000 - for phone calls, travels - 10 million and the salary - 15 million lari" - said in the statement.

"But it was not enough for you and all the summer holidays you've spent at luxurious resorts at the expense of the budget. And this time you're having fun in New Zealand" - also said representatives of the Labor Party - Shalva Natelashvili, Ioseb Shatberashvili, Giorgi Gugava and Kakha Dzagania.
