Vashadze: Georgia makes the compromises on WTO
As Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said at today's briefing with journalists, Georgia makes the compromises in the negotiations on Russia's accession into the World Trade Organization (WTO), while Russia insists on its own position. As reported by "Georgia-News", this was how Vashadze commented on another round of talks in Switzerland between Russia and Georgia on the WTO, past on the eve. The minister said that it was inconclusively, but the negotiations will continue.
"Negotiations were very difficult. Both sides have their own terms. The Georgian side makes compromises while Russia stands on their positions" - said Vashadze, digressing from specific examples and explanations.
Recall, Russia is trying to become a WTO member since 1993.
