Bagaturia: Our government spends billions for wine, women and duduk
According to the Georgian opposition MP, a member of the "Unity for Justice" of the Georgian parliament Jondi Bagaturia, the current Georgian government is spending billions fro expensive entertainments and it is immoral. As reported by "Georgia-News", Baghaturia made such a statement at today's session of Parliament.
"Our government spends billions for wine, duduk and women" - said Bagaturia. He recalled that this summer Georgia has held a lot of colorful cultural events: there were held concerts of music stars Chris Botti, Sting and Enrique Iglesias. We've opened hotels, cycling tracks, ice rinks, dolphinarium and Anaklia became a major resort. But this summer we have also accumulated a lot of problems: utilities, rates for transportation, prices of medicines, gasoline and food prices increased.
"I wanna ask you, what did you celebrate? Such celebrations were immoral and criminal in terms when 72 percent of the population is starving" - the opposition.
"The opposition could not use this summer for training and is lying again. If we want to promote tourism and employment we need similar events. And we know the fact that people are in need in Georgia and we are working on this problem" - said the representative of the parliamentary majority Giorgi Gabashvili in response.
