As reported by VZGLIAD, a complex of 12 Orthodox temples will be constructed here. Earlier, the Georgian Patriarch said that the emergence of this monastery near the border with Russia is not accidental. "It will be the protection of Georgia" - he said.

"While some say that the Georgian government is fighting with the Georgian church - we have already restored more than 500 churches in the country" - he said.

"The restoring of Gramy is a historical act ... The issue of rehabilitation of this important historical center was resolved during a meeting of government two years ago" - Saakashvili said.
