Ilia II: Relations between Russia and Georgia will again become peaceful
Georgian Patriarch Ilia II said that, the Monastery of St. Archangel at to the border with Russia which he has consecrated will become a place of talks between the presidents of two countries.
"When the visitors from there will come to us, they will see that they are in the Orthodox peaceful country. This temple will show us a miracle and I think this will be expressed in the fact that relations between the two countries will be peaceful again" - VZGLIAD quoted the words of the Georgian Patriarch.
Earlier, the Georgian Patriarch said that the monastery appeared at the border with Russia not accidentaly. "This will be the protection of Georgia" - he said.
Recall, Patriarch of Georgia Ilia II conducted the consecration ceremony of the new monastery of St. Archangel at the border with Russia in Daryal Gorge yesterday, September 15.
