Saakashvili: Georgia and Russia should deepen relations
According to the head of the Georgian state Mikhail Saakashvili, Georgia and Russia should deepen relations in order to the nations have not lost each other. As reportedb by the "GHN", the president unveiled such position during the ceremony of handing the passport of Georgian citizen to Russian conductor Mikhail Arkad'ev.
As explained by Saakashvili, when there is not enough "good will" at the state level we need "people of good will" more than ever.
"More than ever we need the people who will not lose contact with each other, who will appreciate all the good things in each other: friends, history and friendship. The people who will not just lose, but will deepen relations any way in order that the nations do not lose each other since our culture evolved either equally or simultaneously or in parallel and in any case, if we do not lose this connection, the distance will not increase" - concluded Saakashvili.
