Saakashvili has left for the U.S.
Today, September 20, Georgian leader Mikhail Saakashvili, who is currently in the U.S., will participate in the presentation of the initiative of Presidents of the United States and Brazil "The Open Government Partnership". This was reported by the agency Trend. As the deputy head of the Georgian Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze explained on the eve, the Georgian president was personally invited to the ceremony by the U.S. President Barack Obama.
Saakashvili is the head of Georgian delegation. In the U.S., he will also attend the UN General Assembly in New York.
As expected, the head of Sakartvelo will deliver a speach at the 66th Session of the UN General Assembly.
Recall, the Session is working from today till September 23.
