In Tbilisi, they discuss relations with the EU
The 11th session of the Committee on Cooperation of Georgia and the EU is being held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia in Tbilisi. This was reported by "Georgia-News" referring to the representative of the Department of Press and Information of Internal Ministry. They explained that the EU was represented by the Director of Foreign Service Department of the EU on "Eastern Partnership", Russia, Central Asia, Regional cooperation and the OSCE Gunnar Wiegand.
At a meeting they are going to discuss issues and problems relating to cooperation between Georgia and the EU. In particular, the sides intend to discuss an action plan of the European Neighborhood Policy, "Eastern Partnership", agreement on association and agreement on a deep and comprehensive Free Trade Agreement between Georgia and the EU. The Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Tornike Gordadze is the head of the Georgian side at these negotiations.
It is worth recalling that similar meetings in the framework of political dialogue Georgia - the EU are being held twice a year.
