Vashadze left for Oceania
Today the first official visit of Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze to Oceania - New Zealand, Fiji and Australia - begins. As reported by Trend with reference to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Jalagania, this trip will last until October 6.
As Jalagania explained in an interview, in framework of this visit Vashadze is going to hold a series of meetings with his counterparts - the foreign ministers of those countries. "The visit will contribute to deepening relations with the countries of Oceania" - said Jalagania.
He recalled that in a short time in Sakartvelo, they intend to open embassy in Australia. This will further deepen the foreign relations with the region, believes a representative of the Georgian MFA.
