The Georgian Foreign Ministry accused Russia of pharisaism
Georgian Foreign Minister said that he regarded Russian statement, that she was peace-maker and not a participant of the conflict, to be cynical, reported "Georgia-News".
"Such statements are hypocritical part of Russian policy, trying to convince the international community that it was not conflict participant, but a peacemaker, and, accordingly, she may become a guarantor of peace and security. Russia is once again trying to create the illusion that occupying regimes which she has created in Georgia are to be considered as subjects of international law" - said the Foreign Ministry in a statement.
The Foreign Ministry also noted that Russia is trying to fight with Georgia from the first day of independence: "Russia is purposely struggling with Georgian state and its sovereignty and territorial integrity and violating the basic principles and norms of international law, including the cease-fire, regularly and openly".
