Bakradze: Summit of the "Eastern Partnership" is significant for Georgia
According to the head of the Georgian Parliament David Bakradze, decision of the Summit "Eastern Partnership", which opens today in Warsaw, will have a direct impact on the European future of Georgia, as well as on the current state of relations between Georgia and the EU. As reported by Trend, Bakradze called the summit "a significant event".
"The summit is a very important forum for us, because Georgia is a member of the" Eastern Partnership "- Bakradze said in an interview to the Georgian media. In his view, the Summit decision must be positive. They will strengthen the process of European integration of countries members of "Eastern Partnership".
"Relations between Georgia and the EU are at a very critical stage. Now our main task is to achive agreements on association and free trade. These are the two main areas, which will continue to make European Union and Georgia closer" - said the chairman of the Georgian Parliament.
