In Geneva, another round of discussions on security in the Caucasus begins
In Geneva, the 17th round of international talks on security and stability in the Caucasus begins.
According to Trend, the Georgian delegation is led by Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic Giga Bokeria.
The head of Department of Analysis and Information of Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs Utiashvili said that official Tbilisi is going to raise the issue of return of Georgian refugees to Abkhazia and South Ossetia during the discussions in Geneva.
"We'll raise the issue of their decent accommodation and security and this is the traditional question" - he said.
Geneva discussions are being held since October 2008 on the basis of the agreements of Russian and French presidents, reached after the tragic events of August 2008 in South Ossetia. The Geneva meetings is attended by delegations of Abkhazia, Georgia, Russia, USA, South Ossetia, as well as representatives from the EU, UN and OSCE on an equal basis.
