France changes its ambassador to Sakartvelo
The head of French diplomatic mission in Georgia Eric Fournier is completing his work in this South Caucasian country. As reported by "Georgia-News", he leaves the country till the end of October.
"After a four-year diplomatic activities, French Ambassador to Georgia Eric Fournier is completing his diplomatic mission to Georgia in October. Fournier will leave Georgia until October 20. We do not have information, who will replace Fournier" - explained in the French Embassy in an interview. They added that Fournier has left an appeal to Georgian society on the official website of the Embassy.
"This is my last word on the Embassy's website. I'm saying goodbye to you with great excitement and regret after more than four years spent in Georgia. It was extraordinary and difficult years ..." - Fournier said in his appeal.
