Tbilisi will have a rest on October 7
In Sakartvelo, Friday, October 7, was proclamed a holiday. As reported by "Georgia-News", this is an order by the head of the Georgian state Mikhail Saakashvili. It is connected with the Day of the city - Tbilisoba, according to the disposal of the President, published on official website of the President on Wednesday.
As the press service of the presidential administration explained, October 7, was declared a holiday because this day they celebrate the feast Tbilisoba. The festivities will last till October 9.
In addition, the press-service reminded, besides Tbilisoba, French President Nicolas Sarkozy will arrive in Tbilisi on Friday within his regional tour. He plans to to deliver a speech to Tbilisi residents in the evening.
