In Tbilisi, a new project for European integration will be presented
Today in Tbilisi, in the Institute of European Studies of State University n.a. Ivane Javakhishvili, a presentation of the project "Strengthening of the Committee for European Integration of Parliament of Georgia" will be held. As reported by Trend, the project was supported by the Expert Institute and Committee on European Integration of Parliament of Georgia. It aims to develop the European integration. The project is funded by the South Caucasus Coordination Bureau of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
At the presentation they will determine areas of common interest of project participants, as well as determine the conditions for effective cooperation. At the initial stage they will be discuss recommendations on the start of negotiations on a comprehensive trade agreement between Georgia and the EU.
As expected, at today's presentation, the head of the Committee for European Integration of Parliament of Georgia David Darchiashvili, rector of Tbilisi State University Alexander Kvitashvili and director of the Institute for European Studies Nino Lapiashvili will deliver a speech. It is also expected the speech of the head of South Caucasus Coordination Bureau of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation - Matthias Iobelius.
