"NATO Week" started in Sakartvelo
In Sakartvelo, the so-called "NATO Week" was started today. As reported by "Georgia-News", it was opened by the Georgian State Minister on Integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures George Baramidze. As explained by NATO Information Center, a number of events is scheduled within this "Week". This includes a two-day seminar by the Border Police of Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the opening of "NATO nook" in Rustavi, student debate, NATO marathon and video-conference between Tbilisi and Brussels. In addition, they will hold lectures on the North Atlantic Alliance in the Regional nooks of Information Centre in Batumi, Poti, Kutaisi, Khashuri, Akhaltsikhe and Telavi.
In addition, a presentation of a book "What is NATO?" and a brochure "Discover NATO" will be held.
Representatives of the Alliance member states are expected to visit the event.
