Georgia develops Bakhmaro resort
On the eve, Georgian leader Mikhail Saakashvili has discussed infrastructure and economic development plan of the Georgian mountain resort Bakhmaro with the ministers. It is located in Guria region in western Georgia. This was reported by "Georgia-News" referring to the presidential press service. A meeting with Saakashvili was attended by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Kobalia Vera, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ramaz Nikolaishvili, as well as director of the National Travel Agency Maya Sidamonidze.
"We make a sketch of how the hotel will be located. After that, we'll start looking for investors in order to start construction of one or two hotels untill the spring. We'll design a plan and will put in order internal infrastructure", said the president.
In the near future, Bakhmaro should become mountain resort of high level with full-scale winter infrastructure, said Saakashvili.
