Armenia: PACE Subcommittee on Karabakh has not coped with the tasks
According to the head of Armenian delegation in PACE David Arutunyan, its subcommittee on Nagorno-Karabakh could not cope with the tasks. As the GHN reported referring to the Armenian media, according to Arutunyan, establishment of this subcommittee was aimed at confidence formation between Armenian and Azerbaijani delegation and between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a whole. However, this goal was not achieved.
"This is the second session after we announced monitoring of mutual accusations, however, our initiative hasn't got a positive response from the Azerbaijani delegation", said the representative of Armenia. He added that Armenian delegation had not participated in the meeting of PACE Subcommittee. However, Azeri delegation tried to present this non-participation as Armenia's failure of decision of the Bureau of PACE.
"And what should we consider Azerbaijan's refuse to accept PACE Monitoring mission", asks Harutyunyan. "Now PACE will become organization of growing interest instead of organization of values", summed up the representative of Armenia in PACE.
