Ivanishvili: I am not Kremlin's agent!
Today, Georgian businessman and billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili made a new statement, which noted that despite all attempts by the authorities of Georgia, they can not prove that businessman is connected with Russian politics and is Kremlin's agent.
"Despite the fact that Georgian authorities and the media they manage doggedly trying to tie me to the Russian politics and almost declared me an agent of Russia, nobody could present me at least one fact confirming this because they do not exist", the GHN quoted Ivanishvili's statement.
"I was not in Russia for nine years and during that time there was no call on my phone from political circles in Russia, I have not had any meetings with Russian politicians. Georgian authorities will be able to double-check it, even though they do not need to recheck it and so they are well aware that I was not connected with Russian policy. I'm not going to make excuses for the scandal authorities and absurd accusations, I can say one thing - I have an affair that I've been carrying out for years in Georgia and if you have just a grain of conscience, how they can link it with the Russian political interns? Where is the basic logic ?..", asks a businessman in a statement.
Recall, on the eve, MPs from the ruling party of Georgia the National Movement announced that Russia was using the billionaire Ivanishvili to buy Georgian politics, media and society.
"Everyone should understand that the Georgian society, politics and the media are not for sale. Attempts like this always end in failure. Policy in Georgia is not provided for the money borrowed from Putin", said the chairman of Judiciary Committee Pavle Kublashvili.
Anti-Russian hysteria was also supported by a parliamentarian Lisha Tordia. According to him, Russia "repeatedly implements attempts to control the policy of the Georgian by the hands of oligarchs".
