TV Channel "Maestro" can still pass under Ivanishvili's control
Management of Georgian TV channel "Maestro" has named two conditions, after which the businessman Bidzina Ivanishvili will be able to buy it.
According to VZGLIAD, the founder of the "Maestro" Mamuka Glonti said that Bidzina Ivanishvili should apologize to members of TV company for criticism directed at them and to terminate the contract with the company which currently owns the rights to control the "Maestro".
Note also that the former Georgian ambassador to Russia Erosi Kitsmarishvili, who heads the company, announced his willingness to cede the right to control TV channels for a symbolic sum of one lari. The main Kitsmarishvili's condition is the presence of an agreement between Ivanishvili and management of the "Maestro".
Earlier, well-known businessman Bidzina Ivanishvili announced his decision to acquire Georgian television: "I'll buy any Georgian television which has a license for the information programs". In order to motivate salespeople, Ivanishvili put forward a number of proposals. Among them - the price for the channel which exceeds the market value of the company for three times, the return of TV company to its owner two years later for one lari, the saving 50 percent of air time for the former owner of the channel.
In this case, Mamuka Glonti, commenting on the intention of Georgian businessman Bidzina Ivanishvili to buy TV company, earlier said that he does not agree with the proposal of an oligarch. "We do not sell! We repeat again that the "Maestro" is not for sale", said Glonti.
