"Georgian party" preparing for presidential elections
According to one of the leaders of the "Georgian party" Erosi Kitsmarishvili, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili can well appoint a special presidential election. As reported by the GHN referring to the story of TV channel Caucasia, Kitsmarishvili said that his party will participate in the elections. His associates made such a decision after several meetings and consultations in Europe, he added.
"Saakashvili knows that in early March, Russian presidential elections will be held and in the Fall of 2012, in the U.S. presidential election won't be still held. Though, the fact that Vladimir Putin will become Russian President is equally obvious as the fact that Saakashvili expects a serious failure in the elections . I am convinced that Saakashvili will call special presidential election in the coming months. And we'll go to the polls in the coming months and we'll strengthen our party", said Kitsmarishvili.
