In Sakartvelo, the first electric has appeared
The first electric cars have appeared in Sakartvelo. According to "Business-Georgia", the first three instances of such vehicles were purchased in Administration Region of Mtskhet-Mtianeti in eastern Georgia. Now, eco-friendly cars are riding in the historic streets of Mtskhet. As was noted in the TV story of the First Channel of the Public Georgia Broadcast, new cars are issued in two options: they are designed for four and eight seats. They were delivered from China. As expected, electric cars will run on two routs - from the bus station to the Svetitskhoveli temple and from the temple to the monastry in Mtskhet. The maximum rate of the new cars is 40 km/h. The machine's charge is enough for about 100 miles.
Recall, in the beginning of this year, the head of economic department of Georgia Vera Kobalia told reporters that during 2011, in Georgia there will be constructed one thousand electric vehicles. These supplies should be a part of a five-year program "Green Georgia".
