The EU noted the Georgia's success in energy, transport and environment
As reported by Press and Information Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the European Union noted the progress Georgia has achieved in recent years in such areas as energy, transport and environmental protection. As reported by "Georgia-News", these merits of the South Caucasian state have been noted during the meeting of the subcommittee on cooperation between Georgia and the EU, which was held yesterday in Brussels.
"Both sides welcomed the meeting of the subcommittee. The European side noted the progress achieved by Georgia in the last year in these areas" - said the Georgian Foreign Ministry in a statement.
The sides also discussed the progress of reforms in Georgia and the main directions of further development in the areas of transport, energy and environment, added the department of the press. Also at the meeting, they discussed issues of regional cooperation and relations between Georgia and the EU.
