In Tbilisi, the Georgian-held American consultations were held
Today, in the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the Georgian-American consultations on European security issues were held. This was reported by "Georgia-News" referring to the Department of Press and Information of the Ministry. The Georgian side was represented by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Nikoloz Vashakidze and the U.S. side - Assistant Secretary Rose Gottemoeller. The American delegation also included Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense USA Celeste Wallander. The guests were recieved by the head of the Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze.
"At the meeting we discussed issues related to the system of European security, as well as issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Georgia and the USA", said in the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They also reminded that the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary William Burns intends to visit Sakartvelo on October 18.
