Kazakh and Georgian businessmen discuss cooperation
Today in the Georgian capital, the Georgian-Kazakh business forum started work. As reported by the GHN, participants will discuss economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as the ability to attract Kazakh investments in Georgia.
Forum is organized by Chamber of Commerce of Georgia, as well as by the National Investment Agency of the country.
Recall, recently it was reported that entrepreneurs from South Korea expressed their interest in investing in the economy of Sakartvelo. It has been stated by Georgian Economy Minister Vera Kobalia on a working visit to Korea.
According to Kobalia, after South Korea opened the Georgian embassy, local businessmen began to show keen interest in Georgia because there were created favorable conditions for trade with other countries, the liberal tax system and a large export potential.
"We met with representatives of public and private sector. In recent years, representatives of Korean companies have repeatedly come to Georgia and have became acquainted with our investment environment. Among them, a company which has an annual turnover of $ 100 billion and it is interested in energy, transport and logistics projects", said the Minister.
Kobalia noted that it was decided to develop a package of investment proposals for representatives of major Korean companies who will arrive in Georgia and will get acquainted with the situation.
