Saakashvili forecasts Georgia's economic growth to 7 percent
On the eve, in Sakartvelo a forecast of the growth of the Georgian economy was voiced. As reported by Trend, at this time, Mikhail Saakashvili became the expert. According to him, economic growth in the country will amount 7 percent. This view was expressed by the President at the meeting with the staff of the state apparatus.
"Today, we are practically the only country in the world which has reconsidered the pace of economic growth. In the beginning, we expected a smaller, but now we lift forecast to 7 percent, while Turkey has cut its forecast for 2 percent and the euro zone countries - at 2-3 percent", said Saakashvili in his speech.
"We are growing in spite of the trends of the world because we have the advantage which others do not have. We grow because we have the state apparatus of high level and no corruption", said Georgian president.
That's how he commented the results of the study, unveiled by the experts of Center of Democracy and Law. "These results accurately reflect the achievements that have been made in the state apparatus. This success - is the result of the reforms which we are carrying out", concluded the head of Georgia.
