Onishchenko is ready to visit wineries of Sakartvelo
The head of Rospotrebnadzor Gennady Onishchenko announced his intention to visit Sakartvelo and its wine company. As reported the GHN, chief sanitary doctor of Russia announced about this after a meeting with a delegation of Georgian winery companies. According to Onishchenko, those Georgian enterprises, that are interested in resuming the supply of their wines to Russia, should submit their documents for their products.
"The situation will develop this way: first, they will present the documents characterizing their production. We'll carry out examination of these documents. Then we'll make a decision about visiting the place to examine the actual situation at the enterprise. The next step - to submit their product for registration", Interfax quoted the head of Rospotrebnadzor.
"If the product passes all the tests, it would be included in the registry. Then - the supply of a production batches, which will also be tested", said Onishchenko.
"I do not exclude the possibility that I'll go there myself, he added. - But I do not exclude the possibility that if we decide to go there, there would appear insurmountable obstacles".
So far, Onishchenko refused to call those Georgian producers who are ready to resume the supply of wine in Russia "for obvious reasons".
"Now, so-called political elite of Georgia will begin another round of anti-Russian hysteria, convincing themselves that they don't need Russian market", concluded the chief sanitary doctor of Russia.
