Ivanishvili's employee is suspected of smuggling
The new week in Sakartvelo was marked by a new stories and scandals connected to the well-known entrepreneur and now a politician - Bidzina Ivanishvili. As reported by the GHN, today businessman's press service issued a special statement on the detention of representative of the Moscow office of the businessman Valery Levine by Georgian law enforcement officers.
According to the press service, Levin was carrying documents, necessary for the termination of Ivanishvili's Russian citizenship, from Moscow.
"Together with this documentation, Levin was carrying magazine "Energy of Stones". "This magazine is sold in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, and its market value in the Georgian currency is about 10 lari. The weekly magazine included mineral stones. According to the press service, 14-year-old daughter of Ivanishvili - Gvantsa - is collecting those stones during several years and she has dozens of these stones in her personal collection", noted in a statement.
However, according to Georgian investigators, Levine was carrying not minerals for businessman's daughter, but some radioactive material.
According to the detainee's lawyer Shalva Tadumadze, Levin was detained because of those stones, which he carried in Georgia with the "Energy of Stones".
Examination of this material seized must be held in the near future.
