Targamadze proposed to redirect funds from education to farmers
George Targamadze, who is the leader of the Georgian parliamentary minority, believes that Georgia does not need two technological universities. As reported by the "Georgia-News", he urges the authorities to send funds for construction of a second university to the agricultural sphere.
Today at the plenary session, Targamadze said that currently in Georgia two technological university are under construction. One is being constructed with support of well-known businessman Bidzina Ivanishvili, and the second is built with the support of Millenium Challenge Corporation.
"Let Ivanishvili to build University of Technology, and funds of Millenium Challenge Corporation funds must be spent on the agriculture", Targamadze said.
