Saakashvili calls for the construction boom across the country
According to the head of the Georgian state Mikhail Saakashvili, the construction boom in Batumi should be an example and standard for all regions of the country. As reported by the GHN, Saakashvili unveiled such position today during a government meeting in Adjara's capital.
The president said that today Batumi is a face and a symbol of new Georgia, where the construction boom takes place. The new tower "Alphabet", where the television studios and restaurants are located, is the symbol of this boom, in the opinion of the President.
"Batumu residents build a twice faster than in Tbilisi", said Georgian president.
He added that, despite the fact that Tbilisi is the capital, the emphasis should be placed on construction in the regions. "And Batumi - is a standard for the other regions of Georgia", Saakashvili said.
