The company "Sarajishvili" wants to deliver its brandy to Russia
Representatives of the Georgian company "Sarajishvili" have confirmed their plans to supply its products to the Russian market. According to "Business-Georgia", Russia's chief sanitary doctor Gennady Onishchenko announced this information on the eve. Rospotrebnadzor is ready to consider the application of "Sarajishvili", said the head of this department.
"Sarajishvili" has requested to send a departmental committee to verify the company, said the head of Rospotrebnadzor. "If all requirements are met, the company asked us to consider the issue of admission to the Russian market. We'll treat this request with the utmost attention", he said.
According to Onishchenko, at the end of last week, he met the owner of JSC "Sarajishvili" - George Piliev. This company is producing brandy at the territory of Sakartvelo. "We have agreed about everything. We are waiting for the documents. It depends on them when this happens", said the head of Rospotrebnadzor to reporters.
In turn, according to Mikhail Saakashvili, the fate of Georgian wine should not depend on the decision of "such a maniac as Onishchenko". Saakashvili has made this statement recently at the government meeting in Batumi. According to the Georgian president, they sould not even talk about the opportunity to return Georgian wine to Russia.
