Gilauri: Russian market not very reliable
According to Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri, Russian market is not very reliable, even if it is opened for Georgian goods. As reported by "Georgia News", Gilauri announced this position the previous day, during a meeting with representatives of medium and large businesses, in Hotel Radisson SAS Iveria in Tbilisi. There he has presented the main directions of the country's Strategic Development Plan for 2011-2015.
"Even if Russian market opens for us, unfortunately, this is not a reliable market, an that was proved in case of Belarus, Moldova ...", Gilauri said.
Prime does not exclude the fact that Russian market opens for Georgian goods, though "it would not be the main engine of our economy". "That can't happen, because the Georgian economy and trade are both diversified enough", Gilauri said.
