Leonid Roshal: Georgia and South Ossetia will find a way to reconciliation
In an interview to GeorgiaTimes, well-known pediatrician and a public figure Leonid Roshal expressed confidence that the people of Georgia and South Ossetia will be able to find a way to reconciliation.
"If in 1944 someone would have told me that we are ever going to be friends with the Germans, this person could have been executed. It was the hatred of our whole people to Germany. But time heals, of course. And I think that the time will come when the Georgian and Ossetian peoples will be together. They are close, they must be neighbors and not to kill each other", said Roshal.
Leonid Roshal also told about his impressions from his recent visit to Tskhinval. According to him, the recovery of the republic after the Georgian aggression is being carried out, though not in rate high enough. "In Ossetia, there are many problems, much is being done, but slowly. The people must work to make life to go well gradually. But I think everything will be fine", he added.
