Recently, in Sakartvelo, there were announced the results of a study, according to which the majority of Georgian citizens trust the justice of his country. This was announced at a recent press conference by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia Konstantin Kublashvili.
According to Kublashvili, this study was conducted in eight city and district courts. In total it was attended by 2765 citizens who were at that moment in the building of courts. And finally, 72 percent of the respondents stated that they trust the Georgian justice.
As Kublashvili explained, the ratio of citizens to the country's judicial system was evaluated on such parameters as the timing of cases, treatment of court staff, ease of procedures of providing information and rate of trust.
"It should be noted that in all respects, the situation in the courts is positive, as reflected in increased confidence in the court", said Kublashvili.
He recalled that, as of 2005, only 35 percent of respondents trusted the Georgian Justice.
